LakeFusion Secures Venture Debt Facility from Live Oak Bank to Accelerate Growth

LakeFusion Secures Venture Debt from Live Oak Bank

LakeFusion signed a venture debt facility with Live Oak Bank. This gives the company room to invest more in product and push harder on sales as the business grows.

The financing comes as LakeFusion continues to build traction with its AI-powered Master Data Management platform that runs natively on Databricks. The team also continued development of LakeGraph and management capabilities.

For LakeFusion, the facility creates additional capacity to invest in the platform and commercial growth while maintaining capital flexibility after the recent seed round.

The partnership with Live Oak Bank shows real belief in how LakeFusion tackles a long-standing enterprise headache, helping companies clean up scattered data and create governed golden records without shipping that data into a separate MDM system.

Venture Debt Facility to Support LakeFusion's Next Stage of Growth

The venture debt facility provides LakeFusion with additional capital to support two priorities: keep building the product and grow the go-to-market side.

Unlike an additional equity financing round, venture debt provides non-dilutive capital. This lets LakeFusion fund growth without giving up more equity on top of the seed money it already raised.

That flexibility matters as LakeFusion keeps adding features and works with companies that have already standardized significant parts of their data stack on Databricks.

The capital will fund more work across LakeFusion's broader platform and help the company reach further into these sectors:

  • Manufacturing
  • Healthcare and life sciences
  • Financial services
  • Retail and consumer goods

LakeFusion wants to keep product and sales momentum going while still having the freedom to invest where long-term growth needs it.

"Live Oak took the time to understand our business, our market, and the opportunity ahead of us. This financing gives us greater flexibility to invest in our platform and accelerate LakeFusion's growth."

Arjun Vaidya, Director of Finance, LakeFusion

Why Live Oak Bank Chose to Back LakeFusion

Live Oak Bank's move shows it sees both the hard enterprise problem LakeFusion solves and the opportunity around organizations building their data environments on Databricks.

"LakeFusion is solving a difficult, expensive data problem for enterprises that use Databricks. We're proud to back the team with capital that helps them grow on their own terms."

Alex Ter Wee, Managing Director, Live Oak Bank

The partnership combines LakeFusion's focus on enterprise data management with Live Oak's track record of financing and banking for venture-backed tech firms.

For LakeFusion, that means working with a financing partner that understands both the company's growth stage and the market it operates in.

Flexible Foundation for the Next Phase of LakeFusion

The venture debt facility adds another component to LakeFusion's growth strategy. It provides extra room to keep investing in the core MDM platform, expand LakeGraph and PIM capabilities, and strengthen go-to-market activity without additional equity dilution after the recent seed round.

At the same time, LakeFusion keeps strengthening its spot in the Databricks world, including its recent Marketplace launch and ongoing work across enterprise data-management use cases.

As organizations put more analytics and AI jobs on top of enterprise data, the need for trusted customer, supplier, product, and company information continues to grow.

LakeFusion is building around that requirement: a Databricks-native foundation for master data, product data, and relationship intelligence, while keeping enterprise information within the customer's current environment.

About LakeFusion

LakeFusion is an AI-powered Master Data Management platform built natively on Databricks. LakeFusion helps enterprises resolve fragmented customer, supplier, product, and company data into governed golden records, without moving data into a separate MDM space. LakeFusion is available on the Databricks Marketplace for streamlined deployment.

The platform runs inside the customer's own Databricks environment and aligns with Unity Catalog governance, rather than introducing a separate access model.

LakeFusion also extends beyond MDM into Product Information Management and LakeGraph, giving organizations a single, Databricks-native foundation for master data, product data, and relationship intelligence. LakeFusion serves enterprises across manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, financial services, and retail and consumer goods.
