If you withdraw your consent, certain services may no longer be available to you, at the sole discretion of LakeFusion.

Please note that this Customer Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites linked from our Site or Services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party sites before submitting your information.

b. Collection & Use of Information

Our Services are integrated to, and supported by, your data storage systems, data analysis platforms, operational tools, and applications under your ownership, license, or control (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Customer Account”). All data shared by you as a part of our Services (hereinafter “Customer Data”) is disclosed, collected, and processed through the Customer Account. LakeFusion warrants that it does not collect or store Customer Data on to any database or cloud storage system owned or controlled by LakeFusion, unless such information is shared directly with us outside the Service platform, in which event such disclosure shall be seen as voluntary and may be subject to separate confidentiality terms agreed between LakeFusion and the Customer, as applicable. For avoidance of doubt, methods of communication outside the Service platform include, without limitation: our forums, message boards, e-mail, verbal communication, or other interactive spaces.

From time to time, we collect Meta Data from your use of our Services in order to enhance your experience, improve customer support, and improve our services. For the purpose of this provision, “Meta Data” shall be defined as the structural or descriptive information derived from data, including Customer’s data and confidential information, such as (without limitation) content, format, source, rights, accuracy, provenance, frequency, periodicity, granularity, publisher or responsible party, contact information, and the method of collection. You hereby grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid up, sublicensable right and license to collect, copy, distribute, display, create derivative works of, and otherwise use the Meta Data under their sole discretion, provided that at all times such data is anonymized (i.e. no personally identifiable information Including, without limitation, name, age, phone number and email address and no identification of the specific source of such data). Collection of Meta Data by us shall not designate LakeFusion as a “data processor” or “data controller” for the purposes of Section 2 below.  

2. Data Processor and Data Controller

For purposes of this Customer Privacy Policy, the Customer is a “data controller” as well as the “data processor”, as interpreted by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means that you are responsible for personal information that we may collect about you and how it is processed. "Personal information" is defined in this Privacy Policy as any non-public information which can be used to identify you or that we can link to you and which we have in our possession or control.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

Our access to the Services, as made available for the Customer, is limited to the access you share with us to the Customer Account. Hence, our access, collection, disclosure, and use of Customer Data may only be conducted within the confines of the Customer Account.

You may choose to disclose certain personal or confidential information with us, as necessary, to assist us with operation and provision of Services to you. We may disclose your information to trusted third-party service providers who assist us with the operation of our Site. These third parties will only use your data to the extent necessary to provide their services. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
