About the Role

LakeFusion is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to build and scale the applications that power our Master Data Management platform, built natively on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. In this role, you will design and develop modern, high-performance web applications that support intelligent data workflows and user experiences.

You will take a hands-on role in building secure, scalable applications across the stack, from frontend interfaces to backend services and APIs. This includes collaborating closely with product, design, and data teams to deliver intuitive, reliable solutions, while writing clean, maintainable code and optimizing system performance.

Working within a fast-moving engineering environment, you will integrate external systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and development planning. You will also stay current with evolving tools and frameworks to continuously improve how applications are built and delivered.

This is a highly self-directed role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, where building scalable applications and delivering seamless user experiences are central to success.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications that are secure, scalable, and high-performing
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver robust and elegant solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the stack (frontend and backend)
• Develop and integrate APIs, services, and external systems
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize existing systems for better performance
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning
• Stay current with the latest tools, frameworks, and trends in web development

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience
• Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Back-end expertise in Node.js, Java, or Python
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, integration patterns, and system architecture
• Experience with both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice-to-Have

• Background in data modeling, data integration, or data governance
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Jenkins
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices
• Understanding of modern identity/access management and security best practices
